Our design philosophy

The primary focus of our collection is on Danish Modern Masters from 1930-1970; Kaare Klint, Ole Wanscher, Borge Mogensen, Frits Henningsen, and Jacob Kjaer are our favorites due to their use of timeless forms and the cabinetmaker quality of many of the pieces. These great Danes infused the best global classicisms into their own natural Scandinavian sensibilities of simple warmth and comfort. While respecting the integrity of Chinese Ming, 18th Century English and French, Japanese, Spanish and ancient Egyptian techniques, forms and proportions, they created their own classics: rich, warm, masculine and forever fresh.
